Golf Mind Factor online

Golf is NOT a Mental Game!

I posted this (my first) video on YouTube about a year ago, before I launched this website and my online Golf Mind Coaching programme. It might sound crazy to say that golf is not a mental game, but watch this video and I’ll explain all!

Unlike many other mental golf training approaches, the philosophy in this video flows through all my material.

Please let me have your thoughts below.

Kind regards,
Karl

    Karl,

I found this thought VERY interesting that golf is NOT a mental game! Til now, I have worked SO hard on my mental side of the game that, as you said, it’s become thinking about the thinking. However, I DO believe that I still have to take one tool at the time out on the course and let it become second nature, before I can stop thinking about the thinking!!! My swing has become less complicated and less tecnical, but I’m still working on my mind, before I can “let go”. Even then, I still lthink you have to CONSTENTLY check(after the round!) that you have done your rituals correctly! But yes, mind and body in a syncronized rythm!

    Kind regards

Everyting you do stems from the mind, including golf. Just becacuse you want your mind to be quiet, it does not mean golf is not a mental game. The synergy that is developed when the the body and mind come together in golf is special.
